I had this bright idea of starting a new blog when I moved to Houston. That was before I got here and realized I would have no <strong>TIME</strong>... but it seemed like a brillant idea. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Speaking of ideas. Have you ever met someone who was so excited to tell you something but they couldn't breath... grasping for air, moving up and down, side to side. You almost get motion sickness by watching them. Well, we have...but then it goes down. They share their idea and boom it happens...it's as bad as the infomercial you watched repeatedly the other night. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">So the question is "How do you tell them after they just went through all that trouble trying to get you to realize how great it was?"</span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;"><strong>A</strong>. Do you take it for the team... support it and hope for the best.</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;"><strong>B.</strong> Be the real friend and save them from embarrassment. </span><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">If you chose<strong> A</strong>... your not my friend and you probably enjoyed a good laugh from me throughout life. If you chose<strong> B</strong>... Shown <span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">above</span>, the Bumper 2 was an ambitious two-stage rocket program that topped a V-2 missile base with a WAC Corporal rocket. The upper stage was able to reach then-record altitudes of almost 400 kilometers, higher than even modern space shuttles fly today. Launched under the direction of the General Electric Company, the Bumper 2 was used primarily for testing rocket systems and for research on the upper atmosphere. Bumper 2 rockets carried small payloads that allowed them to measure attributes including air temperature and cosmic ray impacts.
